The works is part of as series of four solids made out of white bronze, each with one side missing, replaced by a thread made out of a variety of materials bound together — ribbons, laces, bits of rope etc. In Prism with Perimeter (Hufeisensiedlung), the thread is 28 meters long, the perimeter of one of the typical apartments at the Hufeisensiedlung residential complex in Berlin designed by Bauhaus master Bruno Taut.
