Eric Wesley was born in Los Angeles, California in 1973, where he continues to live and work. Wesley has held solo exhibitions in galleries internationally including: Pio Pico, LA, USA (2019); the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles (2006); Foundation Morra Greco, Naples, Italy (2007).

Wesley has participated in group shows internationally including: Boros Collection,Berlin,Germany (2022); Sculpture Centre, New York, USA (2019); Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit, MI (2017); Hammer Museum, Los Angelea (2017 & 2014); Musée d’Art Contemporain, Bordeaux, France (2011); Fundación/Colección, Jumex, Mexico (2010); Museo d’Arte, Benevento, Italy (2008); The Prague Biennial (2007); Whitney Biennial, Whitney Museum of American Art, New York (2004); Institute of Contemporary Arts, London (2006); P.S.1 Contemporary Art Center, New York (2006); and the Studio Museum, Harlem, New York (2001).

Eric's work is included in important public collections such as: Aishti Foundation, Beirut, Lebanon; Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago; Hammer Museum, Los Angeles.

Eric Wesley is also the co-founder of Mountain School of Art (MSA), Los Angeles, CA.

He has been invited to partcipate in the Whiteney Biennial 2022.
